End User License Agreement

Grant of License

Upon successful purchase of a Creator License (USD 33.30, one-time payment, processed by Paddle.com), Interactive Argument Tree PLT grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and activate i.a.T.Creator for your own use on up to three (3) machines.

This is a licence to use the software, not a sale of the software. Interactive Argument Tree PLT retains all right, title, and interest in i.a.T.Creator, excluding your own content created with it.

Activation

i.a.T.Creator requires a one-time online activation per machine. After purchasing, sign in to ia-tree.com/welcome and click “Activate on this machine” from the computer on which you intend to use the app. This opens the app and binds your licence to that machine via a unique machine identifier.

Each activation counts toward your three-machine limit. If you reach this limit and need to activate on a new or replacement machine, contact support@ia-tree.com for assistance.

Offline Use and Revalidation

Once activated, i.a.T.Creator functions fully offline. No ongoing sign-in or internet connection is required for normal use. The app periodically revalidates your licence in the background — approximately every 90 days — to confirm your licence remains active. This check happens automatically and does not interrupt your work.

If the app cannot reach our servers when a revalidation is due, a 7-day grace period applies during which Creator features continue to work normally. If connectivity is not restored within that grace period, the app will request a connection to revalidate before continuing to provide Creator-level access.

Unactivated and Revoked States

4.1 Before activation

i.a.T.Creator may be downloaded and used without a Creator License. In this state, it provides full read-only viewing functionality identical to the free i.a.T. Viewer, with a prompt inviting you to purchase a Creator License. This is not a time-limited trial — unactivated viewing functionality remains available indefinitely.

4.2 If your licence is revoked

If your licence is revoked — for example, following an approved refund — Creator features (creating, editing, publishing, and AI generation) will lock on the next revalidation check. You will retain read-only Viewer functionality, the same as before activation. Your existing .iat files remain on your device and remain readable; you will not be able to create new files or edit existing ones using Creator features until the licence is reactivated.

Machine Limit

One Creator License may be activated on up to three machines. This limit may be adjusted from time to time at our discretion and will be reflected in this EULA if changed. There is currently no self-service way to deactivate a machine and free up an activation slot — to transfer your licence to a new machine after reaching the limit (for example, after replacing a computer), contact support@ia-tree.com with your purchase details.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your Creator License or activation credentials to another person
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble i.a.T.Creator, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent, bypass, or tamper with the licence activation or revalidation mechanism
• Use a machine fingerprint, activation token, or signed licence payload belonging to another user
• Use i.a.T.Creator for any purpose prohibited by our Content Policy

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate licence revocation without refund.

Updates and Future Versions

Your Creator License entitles you to all updates and new features released for i.a.T.Creator for a minimum of five (5) years from your date of purchase, at no additional cost.

We make no commitment regarding updates, support, or licence validity beyond this five-year window. If we introduce a new paid major version after this period, existing licence holders will be offered the opportunity to upgrade, though the specific terms of any such upgrade have not yet been determined and will be communicated in advance.

Termination

This licence remains in effect until terminated. We may terminate or revoke your licence immediately, without refund, if you violate the Restrictions in Section 6, our Terms of Service, or our Content Policy.

Upon termination for cause, you must cease using Creator features. Your installation will revert to read-only Viewer functionality on the next revalidation check, as described in Section 4.2.

Disclaimer and Liability

i.a.T.Creator is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you arising from this EULA or your use of i.a.T.Creator shall not exceed the amount you paid for your Creator License. This limitation applies consistently with the liability provisions of our Terms of Service.

Your Content

This EULA does not grant us any rights to .iat files you create using i.a.T.Creator. You retain full ownership and copyright of all content you create on your own device. If you choose to submit a tree to ia-tree.com, the content licence described in our Terms of Service applies to that submission only — not to files kept privately on your device.

Dispute Resolution

As with our Terms of Service, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute arising from this EULA amicably and in good faith before resorting to formal legal proceedings. Contact support@ia-tree.com to raise a dispute.

Changes to This EULA

We may update this EULA from time to time, including any changes to the machine activation limit described in Section 5. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on ia-tree.com. Continued use of i.a.T. Full App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated EULA.
