This page documents every cookie set by ia-tree.com — what it is, why it exists, and how long it lasts. We set exactly two cookie families. Nothing is hidden.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are signed in — across page loads and browser sessions. Cookies are not programs and cannot execute code or carry viruses.
We use the minimum number of cookies necessary to operate the platform. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics cookies.
Cookies we set
We set exactly two cookie families directly:
sb-*EssentialhttpOnly) — not accessible to JavaScript running in your browseriat_affiliateFunctional?ref=CODE query parameter andexplicitly consent at checkout on the /get-app page. Never set silently on page load.?ref=Third-party cookies
We load the Paddle.js payment SDK on the /get-app page to power the i.a.T.Creator checkout. Paddle may set its own cookies as part of fraud prevention and payment processing. These cookies are governed by Paddle's Privacy and Cookie Policy, not this document. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and handles all payment data directly.
We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, ad networks, or any other third-party tracking scripts on ia-tree.com.
| Third party | Loaded on | Purpose | Their policy |

Current consent position
Essential cookies
The sb-* authentication cookies are strictly necessary for site functionality. No consent is required under ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3) or equivalent national law. They are set only when you actively sign in.
Functional cookie — consent-first
The iat_affiliate cookie is non-essential and is only set after your explicit consent. When you arrive via an affiliate link, the referral code is held in your browser tab's session memory (not a persistent cookie) until you reach checkout on /get-app. At that point, if you click the purchase button, you are asked whether to credit the referring affiliate. Only if you say yes does the 30-day cookie get set. If you decline, no persistent cookie is written and no affiliate is credited for your purchase.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below take you to the relevant instructions for each major browser:
Before blocking cookies
Blocking or deleting sb-* cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in until cookies are re-enabled for ia-tree.com. Blocking iat_affiliate has no effect on your ability to use the platform — it only affects affiliate commission attribution.
Deleting the affiliate cookie specifically
If you arrived via an affiliate link and wish to remove the referral cookie before purchasing, you can delete it directly in your browser's developer tools under Application → Cookies → ia-tree.com and remove the entry named iat_affiliate. This will not affect your session or any other functionality.
Contact and updates
If you have questions about how we use cookies, contact us at support@ia-tree.com. We will respond within 30 days.
This policy will be updated at any time our cookie usage changes materially. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent update.
